Dame Mary Quant joins the elite Companions of Honour.

In the New Year Honours 2023, Dame Mary Quant, Mary Quant brand founder, was made a member of the elite Companions of Honour, by order of King Charles III.
The Order of the Companions of Honour is an honour given to people in the Commonwealth realms who have made a significant contribution to the arts, science, medicine or government over a long period of time. The order consists of the monarch of the Commonwealth realms, who is the Sovereign of the Order of the Companions of Honour, and a maximum of 65 members.
